It is a corded electric hedge trimmer with a Garland AC motor of 0.75 kW (750 W) at 230 V and 50 Hz. It connects directly to the mains, with no need for a battery or fuel.
What are the dimensions and cutting capacity of the blade?
The blade is 730 mm long, with 28 mm tooth spacing and a maximum cutting diameter of 24 mm. It is laser cut, diamond sharpened and built in hardened Japanese steel.
What safety systems does it include?
It features a double-grip safety mechanism that prevents the machine from being operated unless the rear handle and the front grip are pressed at the same time. It also has a mechanical clutch that disengages the motor from the blades if they jam, preventing breakage.
Does the handle allow working in different positions?
Yes, the rear handle is rotatable 180º with 5 positions, from -90º to 90º, and has a Soft Touch coating. This makes for a more ergonomic posture when cutting both horizontally and vertically.
What is done with the cable during use?
