What uses is the PRESS 491 FLAE-V20 pressure unit intended for?
The datasheet recommends it especially for agricultural or livestock uses, such as activating drip or sprinkler irrigation and filling drinking troughs for livestock. It operates without a tank, with an electronic pressure switch and a digital programming clock.
What power and pumping performance does it offer?
It is fitted with an AC electric motor of 230 V with 1,300 W (1.74 CV). It draws water from up to 8 m deep and delivers it up to 35 m, with a maximum flow of 5,000 l/h.
Is it resistant to impacts or minor floods?
Yes. The frame is made of polypropylene resistant to corrosion and impacts, and the pump is raised on a base to protect the electrical part in case of minor floods.
How is it checked whether the pump is primed?
It has a filter with a transparent screw cap that allows you to see whether the pump is primed and, if not, to fill it through the filter itself.
Can it be used with dirty water or sludge?
No. According to the datasheet, it is not suitable for sludge and does not incorporate a cut-off float. The suction and discharge diameters are 25 mm, with IPX4 degree of protection.
